Progress II

The remodel continues....we're actually quite close to being done. All the flooring is now down and the new counter tops are all in. Painting continues in the form of cabinet doors and trim pieces. Here is what we've been up to the past couple of weeks:
Painted a little sunshine on the walls in the basement.

The color of ahhhhhhhh...for the master bedroom.

New master shower stall in place.

Paint on the built in cabinetry in the hallway.

Drop down ceiling in the kitchen GONE.

Bathroom in progress...bye bye honey oak!

Vanity, cabinet and mirror GONE!

So things are happening around the house. All the flooring is gone, doors have been removed, walls have been taken down and the master bath is all most gutted. Can't wait to see what this next week will bring for our little house.

Can you imagine....

Since we moved home to the Northwest four months ago we have been house hunting... our hunt is finally over. We are now embarking on a serious renovation. Can you imagine white shutters, planter boxes, a white picket fence?
How about walls removed, wood floors , new paint.

White cabinets, new appliances, more wood floors.

Wainscoting and new counter tops.

A place to play, create, family time in the day light basement.

A BIG garden next summer...maybe a swing set and slide...lots and lots of flowers.

A new deck and pergola, climbing vines and a swing.
So here goes our journey from a 1980's (honey oak and brass) house to a country cottage (wainscoting, white painted cabinets) home.
